Adegboyega made the revelation during a livestream with streamer Davrel, who asked him about the amount he roughly spends on a daily and monthly basis.
Responding, the pastor said his daily expenses run into hundreds of thousands of pounds, although he admitted that he does not personally keep track of every bill.
“To be honest, nothing less than £300,000,” he said.
Adegboyega disclosed that about £14,000 is spent daily on food, explaining that he frequently hosts people and provides meals for them.
He also said he gives about £5,000 every day to people across African countries, including Nigeria, describing the financial support as an obligation he has taken upon himself.
“On a daily basis, our giving to Africa, daily, is £5,000 daily. That’s what I spend giving to different people in Africa, either that’s Nigeria,” he said.
The pastor further suggested that his monthly bills and other expenses run into hundreds of thousands of pounds, although he said he could not provide a detailed breakdown during the livestream.
His claims have sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing surprise at the amount he said he spends daily on food, bills and charitable activities.
